Speaker: Max Jeganathan
Max is a speaker and director for a Cultural Apologetics ministry called ‘Thinking Faith.’ Previously, Max worked as a lawyer and then as an adviser to Federal Labor Governments (from 2008-2013) – first as an adviser to Jenny Macklin (then Minister for Families); and on PM Julia Gillard’s Carbon Policy Implementation team. Max has also worked on two Federal election campaigns and was a Senior Social Policy Adviser to then Leader of the Opposition Bill Shorten, from 2014-2015. Max has since completed postgraduate study at the University of Oxford and is now undertaking a PhD in Law. He is based in Singapore and lives with his wife and two children.
